About Free School

We are the community that teaches and shares our knowledge with others in the community. Did we mention that we believe in community and teaching for FREE!  Started back in 2007 by a bunch of radicals who wanted to share knowledge, free classes have grown all over the Denver area to where it is a life style!  Please feel free to post a class on our Community Calendar!

A grassroots education network free of monetary obligations, censorship, and hierarchy. We educate and enrich our community through the accessible exchange of skills, knowledge, and expertise.  LEARNING IS FOR EVERYONE regardless of class, sex, gender identity, race, politics and religion.

Venues tend to be the homes of the teachers, parks, coffee shops, etc.  We encourage venues that are welcoming to ALL regardless of class, appearance, monetary means, etc.... you get the picture.

Just do it!!  Solidify your class concept.  Pick a day or four or however long you want to do it.  Make a class description and include your contact info for studentes to RSVP.  Post it on the Community Board here; on the Freeschool Denver Facebook wall and everywhere you can think of!
